Letter from the President & CEO

What an exciting year we all have had! Since opening in 1955 as Baptist Memorial Federal Credit Union, we have gone through changes, and have done our best to evolve with the times.  I believe that the best is in the future, both yours and the credit union’s.

Last fall, we developed a strategic plan that will provide an exceptional member experience.  You have seen a part of things that we proposed: a new website; HealthNet Healthy Rewards on debit card purchases; CardNav, which allows you to turn your debit card “on and off”; the Hassle Free loan; and insurance for your pets.  We have more on the horizon.

Over the next year, our plans include revamping our home equity program, restarting credit cards, and hosting financial literacy classes.  As we have done in the past, we will continue to donate rocking chairs to the Baptist Hospitals with maternity capabilities, attend new employee orientation sessions and benefit fairs.

I appreciate the support of each and every member.  Each HealthNet employee is committed to serving our members and promoting each member’s financial well-being.  We are working hard to offer new products and services to better serve you. We want each of you to trust HealthNet to be your preferred financial institution.

Lastly, I’d like to give special thanks to our dedicated Board of Directors for their volunteer time and trusting me as the President & CEO of HealthNet.

Thank you for choosing HealthNet Federal Credit Union for your financial needs.
